Years later in 1949, they separated after Adolf came back from WWII. And that hurt there relationship of brothers. After that Adolf created Adidas and Rudolf created Pumas. Adolf started the company in August 18, 1949 at the age of 40.

The founder of Adidas was Adolf “Adi” Dassler. He started making sport shoes in hes mothers laundry room. Adolf Dassler was born in Herzogenaurach, Germany. After he came back from world War I in July 1924, his older brother named Rudolf joined the business that Adolf started. After that they decided to name there factory Dassler brother shoe factory.
